Happy #28DaysOfBlackCosplay! As Syfy Wire summarizes, #28DaysOfBlackCosplay takes place throughout February alongside Black History Month, and it is meant to bring positive visibility to black cosplayers and draw attention not just to black history but also to black fans’ present-day accomplishments. Cosplayer Chaka Cumberbatch-Tinsley began the month-long movement in 2015, and it’s taken place annually across social media and fannish communities ever since. (more…)

Open Doors Celebrates the Completion of 11 Archive Imports in 2016!

We missed doing a round-up post last year, but we thought those archives deserved recognition as well!

Open Doors is pleased to announce the completion of eleven archive import projects in 2016, a total of over 17,000 works! We hope that you find both new and old favorites in the archives listed below.


Wolf and Hound

Wolf and Hound was a Harry Potter fanworks archive focusing on the pairing of Sirius Black and Remus Lupin, founded circa 2003.
